North Atlantic Craton meeting

Following on from the successful first North Atlantic Craton meeting in St Andrews in March 2014, the organising committee invites you to attend the second meeting in Edinburgh in 2016.

The North Atlantic Craton (NAC) stretches from Canada through Greenland, Scotland and into Norway. This meeting welcomes contributions that develop our understanding of the NAC and its surrounding mobile belts, and their mineral resource potential.

Goldschmidt Conference

The 26th Goldschmidt Conference will be in Yokohama, Japan on 26th June to the 1st of July. We welcome scientists from all around the world to join us for what will be an exciting conference covering all aspects of geochemistry and related fields. Yokohama is easily accessible : it is just 30 minutes from Tokyo by train. Both Haneda and Narita airports have frequent and convenient public transport links to Yokohama making it simple to reach from any major international airport. An international program committee will ensure that the key advances in all our disciplines will be presented. We hope you will join us in 2016.

European Seismological Commission

The 2016 General Assembly of the European Seismological Commission will take place in Trieste, Italy, on September 4 to 10, 2016.

The ESC programme will be structured in Keynote Lectures, Scientific Sessions (including a joint session, ESC-SSA), and dedicated Workshops (ESC Working Groups are particularly encouraged to organize them).

The 31st IUGG Conference on Mathematical Geophysics

The 31st edition of the IUGG Conference on Mathematical Geophysics (CMG) is to be held at the Institut Henri Poincare (Paris) on June 6th to 10th, 2016. The CMG takes place every two years all over the world, and covers a wide spectrum of current research topics in Geophysics : physical based modelling and measurements in Geophysics, using mathematical and numerical approaches.

AGU Chapman Conference on Slow Slip Phenomena

Slow slip phenomena, which include slow slip events (SSE), tectonic tremor (TT), low frequency earthquakes (LFE), and very low frequency earthquakes (VLF), have now been observed in most subduction zones with dense geodetic and seismic networks and along some major crustal faults.
