The 2019-2022 Strasbourg seismic sequence

Between November 2019 and July 2021, four induced earthquakes of local magnitude equal or larger than three have been largely felt by the population of Strasbourg, France. They have been related to the deep geothermal site GEOVEN located in Vendenheim in the northern suburb area of the city of Strasbourg. We present an overview of the analysis of the seismic sequence responsible for the GEOVEN project failure.
